Oh my goodness! Can I just tell you that babies CAPTURE ME! Sure I might be the one with the camera capturing moments for their parents to always have with them, but in the end THEY capture me.

Miss Kloe is beautiful beyond words, and is blessed with an amazing loving mama!! I had so much fun with her mama while capturing her - can you believe she didn't know that there were days as a mom where we'd actually forget to brush our teeth?! YUP - she has discovered ALL the joys of parenting. But the love she has for this girl is written not only all over her face, but gleaming out of her eyes.

I can't wait until the next time I get to get Miss Kloe in front of my lens.

It's been a REALLY long time since I've updated this blog. I'm in the process of designing my photography website, so in the meantime I'm going to be uploading my photoshoots here.

This was my first time meeting this absolutely adorable family. We couldn't get the little one to separate from her mom - except for the swings :)

These girls are just absolutely adorable!! The older one is my sister Alyssa and the babies are her sisters from her mom. Her mom's birthday was this month so this is a surprise photo shoot that Alyssa planned for her mom... so she has NO IDEA and will find out when we print the pictures and hand them to her ~ I'm guessing she'll be excited since they've never had their pictures taken together.

So I've sucked at Project 365... my pregnancy got the best of me and I just down right sucked at doing anything in life. Then my pregnancy ended... so project 365 isn't happening. I'll jump back into the game and maybe call it Project 335 :) But just bare with me... in the meantime you can always catch up on me and my life over at {Garibay Soup}.

This year I'm signing on to Project 365! That means every, single day of this year I will be taking a picture and uploading it right here! I will probably even take this fun project as an opportunity to play with tutorials and different effects... so, plan on visiting daily, because EVERY DAY there will be a new photo!

EDITED TO ADD: I'm totally slacking in this department.... I think I might have a project 355 ahead of me instead! My battery charger for my camera is currently MIA.... no bueno!

Princess Fairy Dancer

Today was a momentous day for me and my photography. My daughter went to her first dance class ever. I have waited for this day since the minute I found out she was a girl. I have always envisioned my daughter as being a little ballerina and knowing how to dance. I have so many ideas for the moments I can photograph of her. Today I had so much fun taking pictures of my friends Ty and Tamara who are expecting their first baby (it's a girl!) in 2 weeks!!! I'm extremely jealous at how tiny this girl is for being 9 1/2 months pregnant ~ she'll have no problem gettin' that baby weight off.

We had a lot of fun at this shoot! We did a lot of walking, but it was beautiful. I think I scared Emily & Steve by asking them to throw their baby in the air, but they had a lot of fun with it. Ben is my Ella's boyfriend and is ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE!

I have a new passion. It's capturing those moments in life that I find absolutely perfect. I realized I had this passion while sitting in the waiting lounge at Olive Garden one day. There was a family that was sitting on a couch across from me and laughing and I wanted to capture that moment for them. I wished so badly that I had a camera at that moment.
